A Path to Safety, Support, and a Brighter Future
Machiah's House is here to improve the lives of young women ages 18-21 who have aged out of foster care, through an innovative partnership of community resources that enhance their safety and quality of life
Welcome to Machiah’s House, Inc.
Machiah’s House is dedicated to supporting young women who have recently aged out of the foster care system and are navigating the challenges of transitioning into adulthood.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization registered in the State of North Carolina, we are funded through private and public contributions. While we are currently working toward securing our first transitional home, our commitment to serving these young women remains unwavering. The Machiah’s House team continues to make a meaningful impact through life skills workshops, community partnerships, mentorship opportunities, and special programming.
Although we are not currently accepting housing applications, we welcome referrals from DSS, the Department of Education, faith-based organizations, community partners, families, and friends for the programs and services we currently offer. Our workshops, events, and community gatherings are made possible through the generosity of our volunteers, staff, donors, and partners.
“To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory.”
-Isaiah 63:1
Once our residential program launches, Machiah’s House staff will oversee all admissions to ensure the best possible fit and supportive environment for each participant. We invite agencies, schools, churches, and interested families to contact us for updates on our progress, partnership opportunities, and future placement availability.
You can help bring our vision for a transitional home to life through a donation today. Your support will help fund the future of our transitional housing program and create lasting change in the lives of young women seeking stability, guidance, and hope as they build their futures.
