A Path to Safety, Support, and a Brighter Future
Machiah's House is here to improve the lives of young women ages 18-21 who have aged out of foster care, through an innovative partnership of community resources that enhance their safety and quality of life
The Heart Behind the Brand
Machiah’s House aims to support young women who have recently aged out of foster care and are faced with life’s challenges as they transition into adulthood.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization registered in the state of North Carolina, we are funded by private and public contributions. Although we are currently in the process of securing our first transitional home, our commitment to supporting these young women remains unwavering. The Machiah’s House team is currently present in the community through life skill workshops, partnerships and special programming.
Our program is not currently accepting housing applications, however, we welcome referrals from DSS, the Department of Education, faith-based partners, community members, families and friends for programming we currently offer. These events, workshops and gatherings is made possible by the generosity of our volunteers, staff and partners.
When our residential program launches, Machiah’s House staff will oversee all admission decisions to ensure the best fit and supportive environment for each participant. We invite agencies, schools, churches, and interested families to contact us for updates on progress, partnership opportunities, and future placement availability. You can help us further our mission and dream of becoming a transitional residential program through a donation today. Please consider helping fund the future of our program and to make lasting change in the life of a young woman in need.
