Machiah’s House is a transitional six-bed group home, operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for homeless young female adults in Charlotte, NC. Machiah’s House is able to serve six female adults between the ages of 18 to 21 years old. Our structured program provides residential care and training in a home like setting with a goal of teaching independence within the home and in the community. All placements are referred by Department of Social Services (DSS), Department of Education, families/friends, and churches. Admission decisions are made by Machiah’s House staff. Agencies and all other inquiries should call Machiah’s House prior to placement to ensure open availability.
